96 seadoo xp 800 start problem

i have a 1996 seadoo xp 800 when i try to start u just hear a click sound once. If i cross the solenoid the machine will start no problem is there a relay that needs to be replaced or is it the solenoid itself that needs replacing:cheers:

make sure yuor cables are in good condition, if so, replace the solenoid..(the unit that you jumped)
