My question is that is the diaphram in the exhaust raves the same thats in the water box rave valve? Over winter mine developed a hole in the diaphram and all i see is exhaust diaphrams on sbt website. Thanks to all who can answer

that cap is for the water injection into the exhaust. under that cap is the adjustment for how much water is injected into the pipe to cool it. i'm pretty sure that other than the cap it has nothing in common with the raves. i could be wrong tho. in the 96 racing hand book seadoo put out explains how it works.
