HI & welcome to the forum.

I have the same ski but I sent mine to Dr. Honda for rebuilding.....Great job and a very fair price.

Lots of people do their own. Just be careful to buy OEM parts and also replace the N&S with OEM (buy these separate as most kits don't come with them)

where are you in Michigan?
Jetskigoodie can also rebuild them with his new "bolt kit" too. He is in Madison Heights.

hey thanks for responding ,I am in west bloomfield mi.

do you know anything about these grey hoses?

Rip all the grey hoses out and replace with black 1/4" fuel line from your local auto store, you will need about 22' feet. Be sure to pull your selector switch and clean that out as well. Buy a inline fuel filter to install just before the carbs. I use a 5/16" fuel filter, the 1/4" fuel line will go on fine. The grey lines were never ment to handle ethanol. So the ethanol eats the inside of the fuel lines and plugs the carbs up creating a lean condition and eventually cooking the top end.
If your gas gauge is not working, it would be a good time to fix the fuel baffle in the gas tank while you have it all disconnected.
Here is the inline filter

Be sure to clean out the water separater/filter. Be careful with the O ring when you unscrew it.

Selector switch needs a good cleaning, if to plugged up just buy a new one $15

If your fuel gauge is not working it is using the float inside the baffle or the fuse in the baffle, both can be repaired.

Enough can't be said about getting rid of the grey lines...

They will screw with you forever if you didn't.

i will try to look you up i am new to this forum, doing the work myself etc. but i thank you for your response. and yes my gas gauge reads empty all the time and the jet ski only goes about 25% sped and bogs down and cuts off.
