I have replaced battery, spark plugs, wear ring, cleaned carb, cleaned rave valves. I start it up and it idles at 1500rpm. When I give it gas, rpms go to 3000 and stays there until letting off throttle. It makes a dadadada (lol) noise during. After idling for about 10min it runs perfect. If I turn it off, wait a couple min it goes back to that same warm up thing. What is causing this?

Yes, this very well could be and probably is the origin of your troubles. The ethanol in today's fuel dissolve the insides of these lines and turns into goo that plugs the filters in the carbs. This can lead to a lean run and toasted motor. Replace lines and selector valve. While in there check function of vents/pressure relief valves. Once fine move on to carbs. Use only OEM mikuni carb kits and new filters. The old ones can be cleaned if you would rather and they are not damaged.

Black automotive fuel line from auto parts store. Just replace each section with same length and size.

That looks very odd. They obviously have been changed because they all have new hose clamps. But many are gray. Do they say TEMPO on them? The vent lines can be TEMPO, but all fuel carrying lines need to be newer replaced lines. Looks like you have some of each. If so, JJ is correct, your carbs should be cleaned. Is the 1500 in the water or on the trailer? Should be 3k on the trailer and 1500 in the water.

Beth0228, I had a similar problem recently with my 96 gtx. Wouldn't rev past 3k and was missing like a rev limiter would do. I changed my rectifier and now problem is gone. Grey tempo lines are a no no. Had them on my ski when I bought after sitting for 13 years. I got 20 minutes of ride time before motor quit. Carbs were completely blocked with bluish green goo.

Is it ok to replace fuel lines with drag car fuel lines?
Normal black automotive lines work well. Drag car lines? Like braided steel with AN fittings? That would be a PITA to do and not needed at all. $20 bucks for a 25 foot roll on amazon.

I had the exact same situation on my 96 GTX. I was on a FB group where someone was having a similar problem, and when they posted a video, the sound was the identical da-da-da-da- you mention (link to video - its on Facebook SeaDoo Owners Group, so I don't know if you need permissions to view https://www.facebook.com/ryan.morgan.988/videos/1816150118429444/ ). It was a bad rectifier. A couple of checks you can make; 1. start the motor on the trailer, check the voltage at the battery. Should be somewhere around 13.5 V at idle, no more than 14.5 at 5K RPM. If you are getting less than 13.5 at idle, your rectifier might be bad. Second check; disconnect the red wire at the rectifier (its the square potted component in the gray e-box at the front of the ski, 3 yellow wires and one red) and run the ski in the water. See if the problem doesn't just go away. Don't wander too far from shore and don't do it too long as you are no longer charging your battery when you run that way. If the problem goes away, its the rectifier gone bad. Replacement part is like $30, one beer worth of work time (Two if you have a 'pre-work' beer).
