96 sea doo GTX turns but doesn't start

I recently bought a 96 sea GTX and they said that all needs to be replaced was the boot. Replaced that. Now when we put the key on we get two beeps if we are lucky most of the time its just one, But when we do get the two beeps it turns and turns but never starts, Any help would be great.

pull plugs, leave the boots on, and hit button, see if you get any spark.

plugs wet/dry..when crank'n? dump cup full of gas in plug holes, see if that kicks over. Maybe start pulling carbbs and go thru them, inspect the inline fuel filter, if o-ring is shot, replace entire filter with one from auto store..then give a shot again.

Since you appear to be a novice, I'd take timmyboy's advice first and take your spark plugs out with a wrench, pour a couple coke caps full of your gas from your weedeater into the spark plug holes, then put the plugs back in and try to give it a start. If you get it to hit for a few seconds and die, it's probably going to be your carbs........

We dumped a cup full of gas in each spark hole and it still didn't kick on we have gone through and clean the carbs and found water in the exhaust system. PLEASE HElP

think your needles are leak'n. Pull carbs off again and inspect the needle, in the n/s assy..(needle and seat assy).

you got fuel, and spark, along with it crank'n over...so should fire? Hol throttle wide open, and leave choke alone. Crank it for a few, then let sit and cool down, then re-peat. Make sure battery is good/charged. Think it'll grab eventually.

Needles are good in carb.. We keep crankn on it and then let it cool and repeat how soon do you think it will grab? What about water in the Exhaust system??

once it grabs, at that second, it'll blow it out. Even though the needles are good, they still can be stuck. .Did you install them with 2-stroke/wd-40 on them? did you rebuild your carbs, and if so, was it with geniune mikuni parts?, if not, thats ur problem, the red dot on the diaphram are too long, causing the needle to "lift", because its pushing down on the tang...:cheers:

When we pull the plugs and ground them and then crank it over Brownish grayish sludge comes from one of the pistons?

should've posted that, at beginning....aint gonna fire, with water in the motor! Need to pull plugs, ground them to post, and keep crank'n, til all that sh** is out.

Be prepared to install/remove the plugs for awhile. It'll grab, then foul out, then clean them off, re-install, AFTER you've blown more crap outta cylinders, then it'll fire again, then it'll die, remove plugs, wipethem...etc,etc..u get the point.

WE used WD40 and we didn't rebuild the carb just took it apart to clean it

thats good, but the chocolate milk crap, com'n out of plug holes, aint. Keep plugs off, and hit the start/stop button.
