RESTO 96 gtx starting issue

Hey, my 96 gtx 800 suddenly wont start. I get the 2 beeps when key is pit on but when i press the start button i get absolutely nothing! I put in new starter and relay still same results

The plug that goes on the solenoid, check it for voltage when you press the start button. Also look at the pins, I've seen them corrode before.

It seems to have constant power to the plug. It turns over fine when i jump the solenoid

Even when i don't press the button it has power it seems. Weird

Pins are clean also

Have you checked the start switch too make sure it's working? Take the lanyard off, wait. Then press the start button, it should wake the gauges up.

Just did and yes it's working

I forgot to add that the positive post on the starter washer the plastic washer got broken and maybe shorted out that's why I have a new starter that's when all this started

That starter is no good even after new brushes it will not work
