Hi everyone!

1st time here...I have had my GTX but have not driven it in 2 yrs (new baby..) and I put a new battery and got it started no problem, but it is showing oil low and flashing but the level is fine.

I tried a search but found nothing, I am thinking it is a bad ground or connector as the beep is not working with the key (and I have had fuel low for a couple of years, never got around to the fuse fix).

I am just glad to get it in the water for a good run, I will try to get out again for a run to get rid of all the fuel (I had stabilizer in it and added some fresh) before I winterize again.

Any ideas appreciated, I will start with that little extra ground at the battery, doesn't look great.

Thanks in advance!

PS should I do the grey fuel lines right away? I was reading about it in my searches...

Definitely do the grey lines. If they're not rotten already they will be soon. Spare yourself the headache of rebuilding carbs and gummed up fuel selector switches and do it now.

X2 on the fuel lines!

Looks like your headed in the right direction with the oil light. You could also make sure the sending unit in the oil tank doesn't have continuity across it.

What type of lines should I get?

Or more specifically what size is it and should I just pick up a length of automotive....?

Thanks!

They are 1/4 inch. Just get the black automotive fuel lines. No need to get the more expensive fuel injection lines...they are made for high pressure. Count up the hose clamps too, cause you can't get the original otiker clamps off without breaking them.
