I'm new to this board so bear with me... I just launched my '96 GTX this weekend, ran it on the trailer it was fine, launched it in the lake and the light by the gas pump stayed on and the "low fuel" flashed in the instrument panel. So I thought maybe I didn't fill the tank at the end of the season, well I did and put stabil in the system and fogged the engine. What would cause this to happen? I've owned this pwc for 9 years hardly no hours on it (85!). I work on my goldwing, 2 sleds and the pwc world is new to me! I don't own a service manual, could I just need to change plugs, fuel filter, I'm looking for the easy fix...hahaha! Help.... any idea's would be great! Thanks!

There is lot's of info on this.

1) Either your float sank because of the materials it is made from.

2) The magnets fell off the float.

OR

3) the fuse in the sender gave up.

I'm guess the float sank to the bottom. You can get a blow molded replacement from eBay for about $20 that will cure #'s 1 and 2. You can check #3 while you are replacing the float.
