Need opinions please, just changed wear ring, all pump bearings, seals. Runs much better less cavitation but still when punched from a stop will slightly cavitate catch up and will do this about 5-6 times over a period of 15-20 seconds before running correctly. For any of you that ride dirt bikes it feels like when you have ripped a few teeth out of your rear sprocket. Everything is sealed and torqued per specs also sealed around shoe. The impeller looked pretty good to me no pits or curls but one blade was slightly worn in the middle enough to not be straight across. Wondering if this could cause this problem. Want to be able to pull kids on board or tube. I have the 110 HP 787 engine had no problems with it...knock on wood...Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks
Charles

You could have a leak around the pump shoe... but I'd say your carbon seal is leaking a little.

Take the gray cover off the rear of the engine, and push the stainless ring back toward the transom. If you have a second clip position, pop the clip out of the front, and move to the rear slot.
