Starter began running all by itself ,not engine( just starter) stop button had no effect. replace solenoid took ski on lake ran ok shut down tied back up to dock, as im getting out of lake starter starts running again stop button has no effect have to disconnect battery to get to stop. Ohmed out start switch seems to be working. need help ideas to help troubleshoot thank you.

Is the new solenoid sticking alos? A bad battery can burn the solenoid closed. If it just randomly happening it could be the MPEM.
