[Hook It Up]

Working on 96 gti dual carbs. rebuilt. Why when I adjust the idle screw, it doesn't change rpm??? Then all of a sudden after a few starts it goes from low idle to higher idle, then I adjust the idle screw to bring it down and it doesn't change???
what is the problem that won't allow the rpm to change idle when adjusting the idle screw????

cable is out of adjustment, the 2 x 10mm nuts on the threaded rod on the throttle cable down at carbs need to be adjusted to allow slack in cable

If the cable is not the issue some have had the hose clamp on the fuel line hold the throttle open.
