So ive had the ski since april it sat for 6 years , I have , rebuilt carbs ,changed fuel lines , removed fuel selector switch , and replaced with inline valve, cleaned tanks , ski have gotten better with each run , not a 100% though , then today happened

I finally got to the point where I could get it wide open (with choke 1/4 way out ) took it a few seconds to go but was getting there , noticed one of the gaskets between intake and carbs was torn , replaced both gaskets ,before leaving for river to test again we cleaned the intake with carbon cleaner .

At launch ski was extremely hard to start , had to hold wide open to keep running, engine spit and sputtered after a few mins it cleared up , headed down river once again had to pull choke out just right not too much not too little , ski planed out at 35 and wouldnt do anymore about 60% throttle max before engine bogged down again , ran along about 2 or 3 miles stopped at a boat only bar and grill , had a burger left out again , same thing hard to start , spit and sputtered for about 100 yards planed out at 35 again got out into open water and played a bit everytime it would come out of the hole it would go full on till about 35 then bogged out again I finally had enough went back to landing , im about give up, and send it a mechanic I just really dont have money but I have so much invested I gotta do something , summers 1/2 over and I still havent got it straight

Your engine is not getting enough fuel.

In your post you mentioned that you rebuilt the carbs. Did you change the needle and seat when you rebuilt the carbs?
If so, did you use new springs?
Also, did you replace the carb diaphrams?
Are your HSA and LSA set to factory specs?
Is the pulse line going from the engine to the carbs replaced? Are you sure that it is not leaking?

If you replaced the springs, I would either make sure the correct pop off pressure is set, or replace the new springs with the old ones.
I would also make sure the diaphrams are genuine mikuni diaphrams. The after market ones are junk.
You might also bypass the inline valve and go direct to the carbs just to make sure that is not the problem. I really don't understand why you didn't replace the selector valve with a new one...they are only about $35.

no i didnt replace needle and seats , im guessing that could be the problem ill order some tomm. would you or anyone happen to know what size i need ?, everything else besides springs was replaced when carbs were rebuilt , the main reason for the inline fuel valve was , there is only one sea doo dealership out here that never has anything in stock , so i generally do all my own ordering and i figured a 3.00 fuel valve would be better than waiting a week for a 35.00 one thanks hopefully this will work
