96 gsx WOT RPM @6700

Hi. I seem to be only getting around ~6700rpm at WOT in my 96 GSX. I thought the rev limiter is set at ~7200. Is something not right?

Hi thanks for your response, IN the water. Is that normal?

yes, only time you'll hit a rev limiter is if your WOT on a completely flat lake or ski bounces out of water.
