96 gsx sounds like a blender

i took my 96 gsx out yesterday on its 2nd run after buying it..
and upon throtle a noise like a 'food blender' comes from the rear..
wtf is it?

Pump needs oil
Pump bearings need rebuild

something odd is jammed in the impeller/sator area

pull the pump cone you should find oil

use a coffee filter to strain strain the oil. as it falls out of your pump. I'm sure you'll find little chunks of metal.

It sounds like a stick or something is stuck in the Jet Pump/impeller. Look in the rear of the jet pump for any obstructions. It would cause a vibration / Noise. If its clear it might be a bad bearing in the jet pump.
