I have had many people tell me that it is the nature of the 96- Challenger to be hard to get on plane. I agree. I have one that is in good condition but with 2 or 3 people, 2 of them must sit in the forward seats of the boat will not plane. I have a friend who has a 97 freshly shopped and it has the same problem and I am told that they were like this brand new. Once on plane its easy to maintain with reduced throttle. It seems like the boat is underpowered. Are there any solutions to getting this thing to plane better?
