OK, I now know that smoke/exhaust is coming out of my rave valves, what to do? Also while I was running it/testing it out of water the impellor was "grinding" some. Clearances check out, just when running at lower rpm's does she grind. Wear ring replacement?

I removed the top of the front rave valve and found that the rubber seal that is held together by a spring was half on & half off. I took it off/cleaned it and re-installed it. Should I take both valves out and clean them just to be safe?

good idea to replace oring, rubber cups, and gaskets. wire wheel rave valveles clean and and make sure they move up and and down. If still leaking oil around cups cut 1/8 inch off spring and see if that works. Only way i was able to stop mine from spitting oil was using sealing around the caps to prevent air from leaking through. 10 hours later, not a drop. :)
