95XP to 96GTI Carburetor swap

Can anyone tell me if the carburetors from a 95XP will work on a 96GTI?
What sort of isues might I encounter?
Any insights greatly apreciated.

In '95 the XP had a 720 and an 800 motor. So if both are 720's = Yes, might need a jet change to compensate the wieght change, but I'd ride it first to be sure I'd doo that.

I'll give it a go.
I actually have 2 95XPs, one I am using as a parts donor (they are both the 720 model).
I now also have a 96 GTI (more stable for the wife and kids) and that just started having carb troubles.
I intend to do a rebuild but will play with the XP carbs in the mean time.
