Okay need some help 95 XP carbs have been gone through brand new spark plugs great Spark when I crank the Seadoo up it runs real rough and does not rev above idle I am stumped compression is at 140 per cylinder

Let me know what you find. I have a friend and his 787 won't run over 1600 rpm. I looked at the carbs visually and checked pop-off. They look great to me. He sent them off to a guy that does service on carbs. If it were my ski I'd pull the rotary valve. Anyway... keep us posted.

Ok thanks

Is this on the trailer or in the water? I would suspect the fuel system, so start at the carbs and move backwards looking for clogs or air leaks. Pay close attention to the fuel selector valve and water separator, and if you still have grey fuel lines, it’s time to change them out for black automotive lines.

It was the rotary valve gear bad!!!!

Is the engine still in the ski?? I've never pulled one of these with the engine in the ski.

I like the hammer nearby... gotta scare that stuff. When it sees that hammer it knows its gonna "get reel" if it doesn't cooperate. :D
