95 xp won’t fire with new rebuilt carburetors?

Ok so i have a 95 xp and i just had the carburetors rebuilt and installed them last night and the seadoo will turn over, has spark at the plugs ,but will not fire up.... when i took the carburetors off to have them rebuilt, I sprayed starting fluid straight into the manifold port hole just to see if it would fire up and it fired Up .so i dont know what im missing here????

fuel selector on? (don't laugh I've done it)

fuel lines connected correctly?

is your idle screw turned in enough?

pull the return line while you crank, is fuel coming out?

If everything was dry it can take a while to prime the lines.

I had to prime the fuel lines (through the carb) to get it to fire after a carb rebuild.

just put a little premix down them.

I tried that too, wouldn't self prime.

Others have had more luck.

If it won’t self prime you have something wrong like an air leak or faulty fuel pump.

I did replace the pulse Port line at the same time.

It was a 5/16" line when it should have been a 1/4" line.

Prolly didn't help the priming issue.

The way I typically do it is to hook everything up except the return line to the carb. Then blow into the fuel tank check valve to put some pressure into the tank, turn the fuel valve ON and wait until fuel dribbles out of the return fitting on the carb then quickly put the return line on. This will fill up the fuel pump, filter ad lines so it should start almost immediately.

Ok kmarts .I got it running tonight! and want to say thank you and everyone on this site for there help...and i like seeing when post gets the seadoos running because I often search for the answers,but i think when most get them running they forget to post what fixed it...so i went To the local automotive store and got a compression tester on the rental but when I put it on my 95 XP and only restaurant 60 in both cylinders which I thought it was way too low so I put it on my 94SPX that is running and it only read nine so I come to the conclusion that that tester and been used hard so it was not accurate so Was just about to the point of thinking i needed to rebuild the top end (and my still do after this season if it runs ok this weekend on the water) what i did after that was turn it over but got nothing,so i put my battery jump on it to give it more boost...and it started to sound like it was Slightly coughing,so I sprayed a little starter fluid in it and pumped the throttle for a bit,amd it finally fired up...so then I opened up the Throttle adjustment screw and backed off the cable adjustment so I would open up wide or in a store and I don’t fine but it sat for about 45 minutes while we were talking I want to start it back up in a fire right up...so i will see now Saturday how it acts on the water...I’m extremely excited to have 2 of my seadoos running at the same time hopefully this weekend.....

STOP!!!!

Never ever use a jump pack, booster or a running vehicle to start a Seadoo. You have an extremely high chance of frying the MPEM computer. Your ski even came with a warning sticker that says "Do not boost battery.".

Second don't use starting fluid as it will remove the oil film that a 2-stroke needs for lubrication. If anything mix up a little pre-mix to pour down the carbs.

Oh ,I left that oart out,i put some oil in under the spark plugs even though it was getting oil with the gas mix with the starting fluid...seadoo whent from being dead to running....maybe i need to by a larger more expensive battery ....
