No...either your idle screw was turned while cleaning the carbs, or throttle linkage is hung up creating the butterfly to be open, or.. You missed the bolt hole securing the carb to intake. Doing so, vaddress the intake leak. I've done this before..smh
It is a lean runaway. Did it do it before you serviced the carbs?
1. Make sure you have slack in the throttle cable.
2. Make sure a hose clamp isn't holding the throttle open.
3. Make sure your idle screw is backed out.
4. Make sure your oil pump cable isn't holding the throttle open.
5. Make sure your carb base gaskets are in place and seated correctly.
