95 XP crank with no start.

Traded this ski for and a 96 XP for some work. The 95 will crank but not run on the carbs. If I drop fuel in it will run until that fuel is gone. History is the boats have not been run since 09. The 96 runs pretty good. Bogs at 1/4 throttle but then when it gets over the hump, runs awesome. The 95 will crank but not start. Both boats have the gray fuel line. I have read to replace this line but what is the issue with it? Thank you for your time. Bob

You need to service the entire fuel system. If it has gray fuel lines they need to go. The inside breaks down and creates goo that will slowly plug the internal filters. Eventually, it will starve the engine of gas and you will lean out and blow the engine. Or the little filters are packed already. There is no quick fix if you want these to last.
