Is it normal for fuel to drip down the inner venturi while the seadoo is idling at 3000 RPM out of the water. My understanding is that the only way for fuel to get in there is past the needle and seat, which are new.
They have been rebuilt twice now. After the first rebuild they would drip through the venturi after the engine was shut off, which would flood the engine and make it very hard to restart.
Now after the second rebuild they dont drip after it is shut off but fuel does come through the inner venturi during idling, out of the water. Is it possible that the needle lifts a bit because of the high idle rpm and vibration, or do new needle and seats need to jell together a bit before everything seals up? Pop off is set at 46 psi, and pops nicely.
