I have a 95 sportster Running on flat water other day When all of a sudden power dropped off by half , so you know, I do keep the boat in the for long periods of time could it be barnacle related, is that any thing I should check ,I am yanking it out of the water today to see But I can not get it started,Thanks, Very new to this type of boating and engine, again Thanks for any info you guys can supply.. Kirsh :dupe::dupe::dupe:

It could be anything at this point. Seadoo's aren't rated to stay in the water, and the have very little protection. So... if you have barnacles, or clams growing in the cooling system... it could have overhated and died. OR... since the exhaust stays wet... the engine internals could just be rotten.

With that said... what have you checked?
