Hi guys...I seem to be missing something here...
No nav/anc...no blower...no bilge...no tachs...no speedo...no fuel gauge...however boost switch works fine.
Port motor starts and runs normally
Starboard motor just clicks until you use boost switch, then starts and runs normally
Batteries are charged and connections tight (cables only; no other wires on batteries, and no stray wires anywhere)
All fuses good.
Hmmmmmm...help please

Well, when in doubt read your manual I guess. I found one sentence that jumped out at me:
"On Speedster, the accessories are connected to the starboard battery" Thats it...
So tonight, after reading that, I decided to replace the starboard battery with a known good battery, and presto...everything worked! (Except fuel guage...probably a separate issue)
Now I know I said both batteries were charged, but I had committed the common mistake of connecting the charger to the batteries while still connected in the boat. The port battery took a charge all the way to 100% and the starboard battery showed charged to 75%, so I assumed that both batteries were good. Well tonight I hooked the bad battery to charger on the bench and nothing...it wouldnt even take a charge, in fact it kept kicking the charger off.
So it appears that my "dilemma" was nothing more than a junk battery. I guess this is another case of the simplest solution being the right solution. Cheers
