Hey Guys,
Just bought my boat this weekend and am loving it already! I have a question though about the impeller setup that the PO put on it.
The PO has two different impellers. He stated one is for low end torque while the other is for top end power. The shop he had the work done at recommended this setup to get good power out of the hole and still get good top speed.
The boat runs and drives great, you just have to do a little adjusting with the throttles to get used to this setup when you are driving.
Is this a common thing on these boats? My original thought would be that you would want the same type of impeller on each engine or you are going to have an unequal load or cause one to be more stressed than the other.
I'm new to jet boats so any insight from you guys would be appreciated. Thanks!
