you will need to do a little more troubleshooting and give us a little more info to be able to help.

At this point it can be anything. Bad switch, loose connections, bad stator, bad coil, bad rev-limiter.... etc.

I just saw it was a 95. You have an MPEM.

will it crank over?

If it will, disconnect the wire that bridges the CD, and the MPEM. If you get spark... you have a bad MPEM. If you don't... then check everything.

its got a brand new mpem in it. it will crank over. the switch is good. i put a new one on it. its gettin gas to it and all that. im new to jet skis but i work on boats alot so i kinda know what im doin but im not a pro haha. i pulled the flywheel off and now im pullin the stator at the moment. what kind of tests can i run to check it?

The mpem ground is the black stator wire. The 657X engine is a four wire stator.
