95 GTS will not start

My wife has a 1995 GTS that will not start. I have checked the fire and the fuel out of
the tank. Has fire and fuel has no water in it. Replaced the fuel line hoses and cleaned
the carb last year. But even when I spray ether in the carb, I cannot get it to fire.
Any ideas......

whats your compression? any engine needs 3 things to run: spark,fuel,and compression.

Finally got a compression gauge from a friend. Went out this morning to check compression. Pulled the rear plug and installed the gauge.
When I hit the starter button it seemed to fire. Had 120 lbs of pressure.... Pulled the front plug and installed the gauge, same results, it
seemed to want to fire. Had 120 lbs of pressure. Installed the plugs and it fired over. Installed a water hose for cooling, hit the starter
and it started???????? Seemed to run fine. What could have caused it to not run for 3 days and now runs fine????????
And by the way I replaced the plugs on Sunday and still would not start..

Could be many things. My vote goes to fueling problems or no fuel in the carbs.

or your plugs where not conecting completly.
