94 XP won't start after running for 3 hours off and on during day - battery was replaced prior to running without any starting issues. It would intermittently "die", but would start right away - seem to "die" when jumping wave resulting in "bounce" or "rev" in rpms. pulled electric box and checked connections and fuses. did not have ohmmeter available. able to "jump over" solenoid to start, so replaced solenoid. after replacing solenoid, still not able to start just by pressing starter switch - still able to jump solenoid to get it to "crank". checked all connections within box again, etc. Replaced "kill" switch, which resulted in able to start the machine about five times, then nothing again. Rechecked connections and cannot see anything. Not having access to ohmmeter is limiting my ability to circuit test at this time. Have heard conflicting opinions as to whether the MPEM could be involved - not excited about spending XXX to find out it is something else. any ideas?
