Hey guys,

I have a 1994 Seadoo XP. I have noticed that the VTS gauge cover (on the left side of the XP) is really loose. Is there a way to tighten this plastic cover?

I'm not sure what "Cover" you are asking about.

If the gauge is loose... then you can tighten the nut on the back. If it's the clear lens... then you may be able to remove the gauge, and tap/bend the metal lip to tighten it.

Take a 10mm and loosen it enough to get some spray lube behind it then tighten it back. Don't over tighten! It works like the gas caps that click when they reach they're max(in both directions) so they won't break when they max out. It's OK to see it wobble slightly when it's in mid travel.

 Hey this poster above is wrong(me)! I just wanted to follow up on this because I got further into that early trim system. There are breakers in the VTS module in the grey box that kick in when your pegged up or Down and still on the button.
