i have a 94 spx and i need to add some gear oil to the crank case due to crank seals going bad where do I put the oil in at?

Open the seat and look on gas tank top is the oil injection tank. The large oil line under the tank supplies the Rotary valve gear cavity by gravity and gear action to
draw the oil into the lower case, push it out the exhaust side, up the line to dump back into the top of the oil tank. An IN breather for air also on tank top. A medium
oil line with inline oil filter attaches to the oil injection pump, that measures and pumps the oil thru two small lines to the Rotary Valve Cover spigot injectors to lub
the RV flat valve behind the cover. This pump is just under the carbs and the two
small lines need replaced every 2-3 years, as they get brittle, break, and fail. Bills86e
BRP mineral oil (clear) is commonly used $10 a qt. There are less expensive oils, but
none compare to BRP. RAVE engines require different Synthetic oil, as does 4-tec.
Try to use the same oil thats in it, as some oils will not be compatable and clog, OR
empty the system to start over. Bills86e
