94 SP issues

I have a 94 sp, it will run fine for a little while (maybe an hour) but then start to die out as the throttle is opened up. The problem is expediated whenever we pull a tube, kneeboard or wakeboard behind it. The fuel filter was replaced last year, spark plugs are fine, starts up with pretty much no problem at all until it starts to die out, then you have to wait a little bit to start it up again. I think it's either the fuel pump going out/getting clogged or something with the throttle, any other ideas?

Think your carb could need a rebuild and is getting a bit clogged after years of use? Also, just because you replaced the fuel filter recently doesn't mean that some garbage didn't clog it up.

I would check the fuel filter again, and also double check compression just to make sure there isn't an issue there.
