94 seadoo spi 581cc power loss

Hey I just got a 94 seadoo spi 581cc. I replaced the battery and spark plugs. Took it out on the water and it started up okay. But when I would give it half throttle after about 10-15 sec it would lose power and some times shut off if I didn’t fully let go of the throttle. If I give it full throttle I lose power in about 2 seconds. It idles fine and when I give it throttle it sounds good till it cuts out. I’m going to replace the fuel lines and rebuild the carburetor and hope that fixes it. Any thoughts or advice?

Definitely would be the first place to start. Make sure you use genuine mikuni kits. Would also advise replacing the fuel selector with a new OEM one and replacing the fuel filter and o-ring.
