I have a 94 GTX and a 95 GTX. The 94 has a two buttons, one to start and one to stop. The 95 using a single button to perform both actions. I would like to modify the 94 to only use one button for both actions. Has anyone done this? I’m pretty sure I could do this by replacing MPEM in the 94, but I would rather not. Is there any wire on the 94 that only gets power (or ground) when the engine is actually running? I’m very good with electrical circuits, I just need something to use as a signal wire to trip a relay when engin is actually running and not just cranking. I should mention that my ski is currently without motor and that’s why I can’t test the wires myself.
