93 seadoo xp - fuel gauge not working

Can anyone tell me if the 93 xp fuel sending unit has the f1 fuse problem? Gauge is showing empty yet 3/4 full. I did the F1 fuse upgrade on a 97 GSX but just wanted to know if this is what I should expect on this 93 XP?

If the baffle is the same, and you have the pink connector, I would assume that is the same issue.,,,Most out here do not "upgrade" the fuse, we just take it out and bypass with a short piece of solder.

Yes that is what I did on my 97. I will have to look and see about pink wire

I did the F1 repair on my 97 GTI and it fixed the fuel gauge problem. You need to see low resistance from the sending unit. It will change slightly as the float is moved in the tube. If you have no resistance at all then the gauge will not work and you must have not soldered well or the circuit board is bad or magnets are missing.
