93 gts spark comes and goes

Hi im new to the sport, my wife bought this sea doo at an auction . Checked the unit to make sure it was running before we bought ran perfect started rite up. We get it home put it in the water starts up runs good for about 5 min. then we loose spark bring it in the garage check things out everything good sparks back, put it back in the water runs good for approx 5 min. then no spark again. Disconnected the red/blk wire from mpem and it started agian ran for about 2 min. then no spark again. does anybody know what this could be any suggestions what i should replace.

how are you testing for "no spark" are you acually pulling plugs and checking to see if they are sparking or are you just assuming it is not getting spark. you should try changing plugs, and wires first it could always be a bad or old corroded connection. its just odd that it has spark then no spark. sounds like to me when the engine get warmed up after about 5 min of running that something goes wrong. then on the way to the garage it cools down and runs good when you get there. also make sure you have the corect sparkplug. one that is meant for a hotter running engine.
