i just bought a 97 seadoo xp with no motor... i was told the 787/800 belongs in it but i was wondering if i could just put the 952 in without a lot of work?? any help would be good i am very very new to this stuff my first ski i have ever owned or been around... also does anybody have eaither of those motors that maybe needs rebuilt in the ohio area im looking to buy one before spring time. thanks for all the help

Not worth your time....
Trying to make the switch from the 787cc motor to the 951 would be very costly.
What I can see you doing is, go to www.sbtontheweb.com and look through their motors. They have the 787 remanufactured for somewhere around $1000 bucks. But, you'll need a core. If you look at their links, they have links to "junkyards" where you can purchase a non running core, then use it for the exchange for their newly remanufactured one......
