All,

I have had a reoccuring problem to where when I crank the engine in the water and advance the throttle, the engine revs to around 3k RPM and stays there for a little while. I pump the throttle and it makes no difference. eventually it comes back down but if I go to the carb and manually push aft on the linkage between the throttle, the engine immediately revs down. Any ideas as to where to start? This has been happening since I purchased and am looking for the easiest to start with first..... are there bolts that I can loosen to see if that helps?

As allways, thanks for the help!!

check the fuel inlet line, at carb. They use a big snap-ring/worm clamp, to secure it to the fitting. Its possible, that it rotated, causing it to hang up on the throttle plate, or possible, when carbs were removed, that they bent the throttle plate, causing the hangup
