All,

I have most of the issues with my motors taken care of on the boat... however, I still have one water leak that appears to be coming from the drain at the base of the cyl jug. On my boat (97 seadoo challanger 1800 twin 787s) it is very difficult to get to due to the exhaust pipe. Is it possible to unbolt the pipe while the engine stays in the boat or do I need to pull the engine to get to this area? If I do unbolt the exhaust, do I need to have any gaskets on hand that will for sure need to be replaced or are they reusable?

Thanks,
Scott

you can remove the pipe w/out unbolting the engine. The 4-that hold pipe to manifold, then the 1-13mm bolt at the brend, then the 2-allen bolts on either side of the cylinders, down at the base.
