i have a seadoo 720 gti with 110 compression on both pots
would this cause it not to start or is it poss i have another fault
its been stood about 18mth and i suspect carb may need cleaning but dont want to strip carb if its the compression to blame
if i spray some fuel in pots it will start for a second or so but wont run

If the compression is correct then it will not start in the water with it that low and needs the top end rebuilt.

I would check with a second compression tester just to verify it is correct. Note: The Harbor Freight ones are junk and will read low.

it wont start even on drive unless i spray some fuel down pots
then it will run for a couple of seconds (would low compression stop the vacuum pump working on carb) or do you think it might need a clean out

It sounds fuel related but I would still confirm compression before throwing money at it.

yea your right im not gona spend owt on it if i cant sort it i will sell it on as spares repair
its just one i got cheap (now i know why) ha ha mite try cleaning carb see where that gets me
thanks for your input its much appreciated
