717 Carb question

I don’t have JIS screwdriver is there any stores I can get them at or a certain Phillips I should use or process to get internal screws lose ? Not trying to wait on ebay but will if I have to.

also the little grommets, what size ball point Allen wrench should I use to install them?

If you are real lucky you may get them out with a standard phillips. Do yourself a favor and order a set of the proper tools. Some people say use a 4mm ball allen wrench for the grommets. Or order the Mikuni tool at same time as JIS screwdrivers.

That 4mm ball end allen is a super great idea!,,l have been using the end of a drill bit.

I have a set of screw drivers that were in the electrical dept of Lowe’s or Home Depot that have that special tip.

With screw driver in the slot, give the drive a tap to loosen the corrosion.
