657 carb rebuild

hi All,

New here, just bought a 1995 seadoo gtx 650 and rebuilt the carbs but did not take a pic of it together before I pulled it apart. The lower butterflies are offset. One is half open and the other is closed. Is this normal? It just doesn't seem right took a pic of it

Thanks for the quick reply, do you know where I can find a diagram or images for them. I tried you tube but no luck

No I don't.

There should be an adjustment screw on the links between the two carbs that will bring them into sync.

Did you seperate the two carbs when you did the rebuild?

If you google search your year and model and service manual, you should find a downloadable document. It will have a diagram and procedures to resynch the carbs.

Sorry for the late reply, Yes I did. My neighbor figured out that the other lever had spring tension in the middle.

If they are installed wrong would that stop the gas from being pulled into the carbs? I'm noticing the fuel filter is not filling with gas. Does this ski have a manual fuel pump or is it electronic?

Yes, the check valves draw in the fuel, if they are not installed correctly, or if they are cracked, the fuel pump side of your carb will not work.
