4tec 155 ????

I have a gtx 155, I just put the motor in the ski, used motor, it runs rough, idles up and down and takes a few to get started. I don't have the drive shaft hooked up yet, has not been in the water since 05. any ideas, changed oil and spark plugs. Compression 180 on all 3 cylinders

STAR TRON from Walmart

Hey, I had similar problems with my boats, snowmobiles and motorcycles. I found a quick fix that has worked most every time. I use Startron fuel additive. I buy it from Walmart in the marine section, in sporting goods. It has saved me from major problems many times. I bought a '03 sportster last week, that had been sitting for two seasons. When I tried to run it, it ran terrible. Once I put in the Star Tron, the boat ran perfect within a half hour of babying it on the lake. All is well now! Startron has worked wonders. It's worth a try, and it's about $9.00
