4 quick beeps

My ski makes 2 beeps at first which is normal and 4 quick beeps when i leave the lanyard in,my friend says its a fault,hope someone might know what it means

Hi there, if you are referring to the 4 quick beeps when the lanyard is attached but the ski is NOT running then it is just an alarm to let you know you are powered up and ready to go... the beeps repeat themselves every 10seconds... if this is not the case then you have an issue with your ski... will it still start/run?

Like seadoolover said. These 4 beeps are to remind you that the lanyard is attached and not to leave it there for too long or the battery will eventually drain.
