3D Intake Grate

Just curious if anyone has installed an intake grate on their 3d? I was looking at the Worx grate. This is my first ski and not sure of the pro's and cons of grates? From what I read it seems to really make a diiferance. Anyone have any before and after experiences with intake grates either on the 3d or others? Thanks - Mike
