Been looking at buying a Switch, and came across one that was hydro locked, so a guy could pick it up cheap and swap a new motor into it. I'm wondering if anyone knows the possibility of swapping in the 300hp or 325hp motor in place of the existing 230. I don't know what all would be different, but assuming there could be a lot to change. Also, is there a workshop manual out there so I can see how involved swapping the motor would be? I've done plenty on cars in my days, but boats are a different animal.
So far in my limited research, comparing the engine mount brackets between a 230hp Switch to a 2025 GTX Limited 300 and 325, they're all the same part number, which may mean the engine can be physically bolted in. One small piece of the puzzle anyway.
