Greetings. New member and rookie here. Help! Sucked rock into impeller and removed bucket and impeller and extracted rock. Sleeve was badly gouged and impeller fairly well beat up. Re assembled and loctited and torqued to specs. Lots of vibration and some noise. Headed out and things seem ok until 20 minutes later there was no power. I could rev engine but was not moving. Towed home and disassembled and to my surprise when removing the impeller assembly out plops the drive shaft. The boot holding driveshaft to engine is torn to pieces. I inspected the drive shaft splines and they seemed fine. I am planning on replacing impeller, protective sleeve, boots etc. However before I proceed I want to make sure I'm solving the real problem and not missing another cause or issues. Any suggestions?
