2017 gtr 230 only runs 58??

friend bought a brand new ski, 2017 gtr and it tops at 58. My gtx runs 60. What do you think his problem is? Ski is only 3 weeks old. Dealer said it should run 72 and they are sending tech to inspect.

2 hours, maybe less. It's brand new . I told him to break it in but he still wanted to ck top speed

One that ski will never see 72. Second the machine is still in break in mode and will not get to top speed or RPM yet. What ever dealer sold you the machine Id be nervous about now. One he tells you it should do 72 and second he knows he just sold you the ski and should know its still in break in mode until around 10 hours.

What dealer if you don't mind my asking?

But yeah, during break in, that's about right with what I experienced on my 2016 GTR 215. Once I hit the five hour mark, I went from a top speed of 60-62 to 66. I WOULD expect him to hit a higher top end. Where does he have the VTS trimmed to? All the way up and mine tops out at 62. In the middle or one mark below middle and it'll do 66 with occasional 67's.
