I watched my hour meter approach 100 hours so I could take it to a dealer for 100 hour service right on the mark. Saw it go 98, then 99, then 100! But then a part I ordered wasn't in yet so I went another time to the lake and saw the meters (I have two seadoo wake 155's) change to 101. I then took them to the dealer. They did the 100 hour service which only consisted of an oil/filter change, checking and lubing, and code scan. All was clean they said. Next day I take them out and what do I see? 109 hours on meter on both machines!
I called the dealer on this and they said I must be mistaken. I am not. I have witnesses to the 101 reading also. Called Seadoo customer service, they say they no nothing of this. Dealer only had them there 6 hours the first day and till 3 pm the second. To put that many hours on them they would have to ride almost constantly. It didn't happen. And they couldn't of run them in the shop that long, they'd be out of gas, and the drive line seals would be toast.
So what is it? I've seen other posts where hour meters have gone backwards! But no answers.
