I have just purchased the 2014 RXTX and was wondering if there is any sort of "break in" period or actions that need to be done? Also, it is stated that 87 octane is useable, but 91 octane recommended due to the supercharger. I only have 89 and 93 here. Are there any issues with using 89 or 93???
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide!

Did you not get a manual with it? Sure it mentions breakin period or ask the dealer
Go half and half with the fills and you will have 91 or just fill with 93.

If you can't find the number in the manual, then just about 10 hrs with the learner key. (under 5,000 rpm)

Hey neighbor. Throw that learners key away. Like has been said...vary the throttle when out...no long runs in any one rpm range. make sure you open it up every once in a while. 91+ is best...but these'll take any gas. Where abouts in VA are ya?

I'm certainly no expert on break-in but it's more than likely the owner's manual is being vary gentle on the recommendations. My wife and I just bought two 2014 GTX Limited. To do the break-in we have been going to a local lake playing and learning how these beast handle. My version of that is vary aggressive. Hers is gentle. So we have been swapping back and forth each outing. A good variety of riding and throttle jabbing.

Thanks all for the help, I pick it up this weekend and hopefully drop it in Lake Anna the next weekend. Also, if anyone else in Central VA goes to Lake Anna, let me know! Thanks again for all the advise.
