2014 GTI SE 130

I have a 2014 GTI SE 130. Let it sit for a few momths. Now I can get it to turn over when I try to start it. Just get the beep and it sounds it wants to start but it starts to click and doesn't turn over.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Charge the battery first and then try to start. You probably have enough power for beeps and gauges but not to turn the engine over to start. You are probably due for a new battery if this one is 3-4 years old.

Yes, bad battery. These need a very strong battery or all kinds of problems will show up.

Thanks for the input. I'm gonna install a new battery. When I was take the old battery out I noticed the 2 of the vent caps looked loose. Nope they are snapped off! I have no idea how that happened besides a rough ride last time we had it in the water.
